Covenant Place of Tulsa Earns Deficiency Free Survey Retirement Community Receives Noteworthy Status by Oklahoma State Department of Health

Covenant Place of Tulsa is very pleased to announce it was rated
deficiency free by the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) at its recent annual
inspection. The survey is conducted unannounced to retirement communities in conjunction with
their licensing renewal process. Only 1.8 percent of retirement communities earn this status.
The OSDH is the state’s long-term care regulating body, which licenses Assisted Living
communities and ensures they deliver comprehensive, safe and appropriate care to the
residents they serve. They have strict guidelines they uphold while rigorously examining a
community. Some of the areas surveyed include Nursing, Dietary, Maintenance and Human
Resources. A deficiency free survey means that all the services provided at the facility meet or
exceed all state and federal standards.
“This accomplishment is achieved by the hard work of all the team members of Covenant Place
of Tulsa and as a result of their dedication to delivering superior service to our amazing
residents!” states Executive Director Garrett Lee.
Covenant Place of Tulsa’s high level of care and service prevailed with a clean bill of health! The
retirement community was given a perfect score on its quality of care, safety, administration,
food service, nursing care and resident rights. Congratulations to the community and all its
hardworking staff!
